Blue Horizon

I have known the kiss of an ocean breeze
And been embraced by its salty fragrance
Bringing to mind memories of orcas
Swimming deep within the blue horizon

I have heard the whispering of the trees
Interspersed with the singing of songbirds
The wind moving through the leaves and branches
Is a lullaby to my broken soul

I have felt the touch of a waterfall
Its soft spray gently caressing my skin
And yet so powerfall was it to me
That I could not utter a single word

I wish to know her kiss and her embrace
To hear her whisper and sing lullaby
To feel the power of her gentle touch
Like the cascade, I have fallen for her

As I bow head to pray, God smiles down
Telling me to love her with all my heart
