Fred **a Children's tale**

.......................................

P. Pharbus McLintry
Could not spell his name.

Oh, he tried and he tried,
Still, it all turned out the same.

Always Pharbol MacEntire,
Or Feeblenuss Nodd,

A couple of names
Pharbus found rather odd.

"I'm neither a Pharbol,
Nor a Feeblenuss, see!

So, why is it I cannot,
And so simply

Write my fine name,
Just like my Grandpa and Dad?

After all, this is almost
The very name they had."

But when his Grandmother chuckled,
And tapped at her shoe,

She told him a something
That he never knew.

"Don't let it bother you,
Young Pharbus," she said.

"Your Grandfather always signs
His name as Fred."

Awesome! Oh, but I dearly love this one! Ah, what a brilliant tribute to the misery of names our elders sometimes too selfishly like to laden us with, expecting us to swallow down the injustice as if it is perfectly acceptable. Hmm. Contact me after I have the chance to name somebody. Absolutely splendid. I adore it.
