The Gwynant Sunrise (Skimming Stones)

As the still and silent water
Met the shadows of the dawn,
The mist there slowly lifted
As the new day then was born,
Above the clouds were glowing
As the chains of night did break,
As I watched the Gwynant sunrise
Skimming stones across the lake.

As the golden sunlight glistened
In the warm September sky,
And it danced upon the ripples
As the breeze then stirred a sigh,
And it lit the rugged shoreline
With its slated pearls of grey,
And it swept across those crowning hills
As darkness slipped away.

Delightfully charming and tender, peacefully dancing from its almost breathtaking entry to its lovely close, a veritable beauty throughout. I love it, taken there for mere exquisite moments.
