#302 - Leaf Blizzard by katbaro

Nowhere!

Spring was dry
As I watched
The shattered leaves
Of last summer
Blow wildly about

The suns bright rays
Dancing through the forest
Lit up the sky
Casting long twisted shadows
Far down
The old country road

I loved the smell
Of the wild flowers
Along with splashes of colors
Rising from the ground
It seemed to make the forest
Come alive

Yes
It was a good day
As I walked down
The old country road
That led from my front door
Around the mountain
To that special place
That I loved to be

Absolutely… nowhere!
