Have Fun. by isa valladares

Not Sixteen

No...
She's not yet sixteen
Which limits her vision
By the steps she takes
In the real world

With a bouncing gait
And an impish smile
You know the kind
It’s the type
That could only be found
On someone so young

Yes...
The world is so very new
With all its troubles
And problems so far ahead
So very far away… down the road

It just hasn’t has found her
... Quite yet!

so well you capture this time... when all the world seems full of promise and all that life holds has not yet dawned on her... a time to savour and enjoy

But time will not stand still and the maturation process brings with it the challenges we have had to face. Let her enjoy these moments for they are short lived. Your friend in words, Pete
