Double Trouble

I never knew a man could stand so tall.
Then I met myself walking the hall.
I was struggling and trying to move.
When the man grabbed my beard and I felt a soothe.
Feeling within my skin.
And he gave me a quiet sheepish grin.
I thought to myself long and hard.
Who is this big tub of lard?
Play with me he did while holding my tongue.
He threw me swiftly around and I did run.
I could not shake him this double of me.
He forced me down on bended knees.
He told me things only I could know.
He told me of the night we froze in the snow.
The time I slept in the Sun and burned.
When would I ever wake up and learn.
Waking to the sounds of sirens so near.
When the car we were in slipped out of gear and he ended up with his head in a mirror.
At this he was screaming my name in blue notes.
About the time I threw him out of a boat.
But this day revenge was having it's way.
When I met the man who showed me my day.

Captain Kirk and his evil clone? Sounds like something that can't be killed off, just keeps popping up, whack-a-mole! Ten years from now you will once again pay your own revenge on yourself. Delightful piece of work.
