Don't count the Days...make the Days count.

~

The soft stars in your eyes,
You're firm hold on my heart,
How I wish the tears of time, would quit tearing me apart,

The two sides to every coin,
With both sides of every moon,
With a wish of desperation,
I'd start right back at the womb,

Would I manage to gather my feet again,
Tell myself a way to find,
A second with You is Happiness,
The past is long left behind,

If I did could things be different,
Would it turn to be the way we are today,
Who's to say that I didn't already,
That this is the journey to take me far away,

Feeling no use nor ornamental,
Not a bit of this seems real,
But it is what it is;
to change that,
Is more solid than chewing steel,

Taking me with You,
Leaving careless intent,
I'll show You, I Love You,
And quantify the extent,

Losing myself to find You,
Backtracking over all iv done before,
Finding ambition that's so 'flawless',
'til I see one more depth in you there's more,

I write heartfelt lines to you most days,
Words and Letters that just amount,
Am I done counting the days that go by,
Here's to making those days, with you, count.
