Spiritual Aptitude

Spiritual Aptitude

It’s about the jigsaw puzzle that lies between the spiritual
and the physical world. Would we, could we— fully look
at our small toes and marvel at their distant absurdity
found in their funniness. It only takes wriggling out
of one’s porous skin and slipping into the other, but then
how does one tell the story to everyone else that wants
to know the cosmic wonder inside an ice-cream cone.

That entitled binding is next to impossible to read aloud
from within infinity’s library. Some have dipped long into
the ink well to show us the fine-print on a banana or two.
But then we've smeared the ink so badly it can’t be read,
not even with bifocals, microscopes or huge telescopes.

Laughter seems the only truth held in this hidden ecstasy
inside the vault where the rainbow pronounces its full joy.
The fantasy of its "gold" is only found within its center stripes,
walled between the slightly invisible infrared and ultraviolet.

Could I, should I —find a yellow apple transparent as a mist
beside a galactic waterfall; I would find its unique spectrum
as a delicious food to nourish my body with pure sustenance
for my ethereal self: I'd become a God eater, and devour
one creation after another —from carrot to cabbage. I’d fall
in love with this world in a big way; I’d become translucent.

1. The cosmic wonders inside the melting ice cream , where each bite of delight is the message of doom at the same time. The small toes and the big , long distances in all their might create the biggest wonder that we call zeitgeist ( the spirit of life ) . One needs to step out of one's own skin and be the light that goes the path , that knows the path. Wonderful opening here . 2. Reading the banana skin prints with the eye of the soul , decoding the message that is written on the inner walls , seeing what lies next to us with the help of the tools that were blunt even before they were created. Life is what we are , the thought is the fiber I am made of . Most spiritual thoughts are simple , one just needs to think aloud. 3. A rainbow lies inside the vault that we have become. Sometimes we forget our own code that we created for safety of the treasure . We punch various combinations and find the vault sealed permanently and then we turn to the master for a solution . And we find that within the undescribable lies a code that we deciphered long ago but didnt use. The key inside the vault is the secret of the vault and is secured. Once we do that we become all and all becomes me . 4. Within the translucence lie the shades of tranarency married to opacity , balance is the key . Walking that thin line that divides between joys and sorrows , that separates light from dark and good from bad , is the karma and we find that karma follows us when we take the fruit out of picture. When we love the world the way it is , when we see beauty within each ugly morsel of time. Ron , you are a master and i am glad I met you. .

It talks to me. The thing that makes me hesitant to assay anything more than a pretentious dilettante's exploration of the metaphysical is the the fact that I can never find any points of reference.
