Sometimes we get priorities out of place,
Starting out of the gate like a raging bull!
In the order of application,
Has it ;or is this what’s happening to you?
One step forwards, then taking two steps back?
In an out of order application short lived by most.
This might be where you’re at in life,
Going about doing, whatever seems, at the time to float your boat.
You don’t take your clothing off before you bathe,
And when a cup held out by the homeless never place a penny.
Yet turn around and spend a crown,
On self gratifying silliness of many.
In the proper order of application,
Lays the true secret to ones content.
Not in those things you’ve placed out in front of,
All those misplaced applications, out of order that you’ve spent.

One of the paradoxes (I see 'em everywhere) that's always puzzled me, the more patience and prudence you exhibit while accomplishing something, then the greater the speed and effectiveness with which you seem to accomplish it.
