I still believe in heroes,
Not the ones you find across TV screens.
But everyday kind that might live next door,
Reaching out to a dying world, with every blessed means.
Their faces are those standing in a crowd,
Nothing special, just a face without a name.
Never waiting around for that pat on the back,
Yet, all heroes just the same.
Never boasting about the deeds they’ve done,
Or the time and money they’ve sacrificed.
Just listening to the call of God,
Paying forward, our Lord’s Ten Commandments’ price.
I still believe in heroes, I pray that you do too,
Just take a look within your mirror and find,
That there lies a hero inside of you.

Believe it or not... I too have youthful notions that heroes and knights [in shining armour] do still exists... Lost in a place and realm I'm yet to discover! sigh...
