(Luke 12:16-21)
It seems to me rather contradictory,
That Jesus, who was so gentle at times, would call,
Some people, “Fools” as recorded,
Biblically so many times in all.
He spoke especially about the Pharisees,
After warning a man about coveting, a “Fool!”
Wasn’t because large barns he’d built to store his harvest,
Was that, God wasn’t placed ahead of his windfall to rule.
