To give one’s life for another,
Is an ultimate gift of love and sacrifice.
There was a man, who did that for us,
His name will ever be, “Jesus Christ.”
“Greater love has no one than this,
Than to lay down one’s life for his friends. “
(John 15-1-13) is history written,
And will remain the ultimate sacrifice until earth’s end.
He who gave His life to save me,
Now will keep me to the end;
In His care I’m securely resting,
On His promise I depend.
