The longer that I am allowed to live and breathe,
I’ve learned many things that I know for sure.
That not much happens if you’re not pedaling,
So get your life back on track…into gear.
And the things I placed so much energy fretting over,
Have rarely ever come to pass.
And that true friendship’s if invested,
Are those friendships that for life are going to last.
And that our youth may work for fifteen minutes,
But charm and one’s grace are treasured more as I grow old.
And that every great achievement made,
Was once considered impossible to hold.
