Cowardly Wellies.
My wellies have gone into hiding.
They left a short note on my bed.
They said that they don't fancy going outside
and would much sooner stay in instead.
I have to admit I was gobsmacked!
It's not as though they can catch flu!
Wellies are meant to go out in the cold!
It's what they were designed to do!
If I'd asked my slippers, I'd get it.
My sandals or flip-flops, I'd know
that it would be futile to ask them
to head out with me in the snow.
But wellies are meant to be hardy.
Be made out of far sterner stuff.
If they are not bedside by morning
then I'm going to have to get tough.
My wellies are now on a warning.
I never thought they would be lacking.
But if they don't prove themselves worth what I paid
my wellies will have to get packing.
LOL...those darn wellies.

lol well I hope those naughty wellies heed the warning Kath and come out of hiding. Perhaps tho, they dont like the cold snow but perhaps they prefer puddles that they can jump in :)
