Winter Sun Set, River Medway, Lower Halstow, Kent by Ridders2

Given.

Oh a really given day was yesterday.
Yesterday
unhindered sun shone some effective
change.
Change swept clouded ceiling free from
grey.
Grey old winter much bewildered then
skulked away.
Away went shivers, sad to say 'tho back
they came today.

Those precious unexpected gifts of Nature have to be appreciated at the time as your lovely poem makes so clear Fay, for there is no guarantee they are here to stay. :) kath xxx

Yes I heard on the radio too that the cold has hit many parts of the world. Stay in and warm Fay.
