Love Divine *** Meggie's Love Challenge***

Love comes from the heart,
A yearning from one's soul.
It's never wanting to be apart
Never wanting to be alone.
Holding a kiss, the very first
in your mind forever.
The taste of sweet lips divine
It is about trust and loyalty
freedom with expression.
Follow your yellow brick road
With pearl shoes that sparkle.
Reach your goal with your love.
For it was not into my ear you whispered,
but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.
Chase your dream, score that goal,
It was the music of love you whispered
with every beat of my heart.

A sweet penning. The flow and rhythm aren't perfect, but it reads easy enough and your poem fires up that good old memory box a spell. I still remember that first kiss. I enjoyed reading this. tfs
