Smile! by Princessofthedamned

Let Me. (Smiling Sunday-for Cheryl)

We enter life hoping for meaningful change.
Let me I pray, communicate unity.
We want to help someone feel just the same.
Let me then enjoy being in tune.

Ambition means little if laughter's restrained.
Let me I pray make a bit lighter
Another's dull road by my smiles given away.
Let me be more randomly kind.

Stranger-friendly I may raise some humour.
Let me be someone who must
Look above and beyond unhappy humanity
Let me I pray make this such
A fashion that "people-smiling" might boom.

So if today I meet someone without a smile
Let me just give 'em one.

This wonderful poem is right up my smiley-street Fay. We have so brief a time to live in. We can choose to spread smiles or gnarliness. I choose smiles every time. :) kath xxx
