Ten

I was a 'miracle' baby of sorts. My mother's tenth and final pregnancy... and the first to survive!

pain
doubt
breath

birth
fear
life
death

nine times attempting life before
miracle of miracles possibly in store

push
push
hope
pray

could this be that special day
mother father unexpected joy
welcomed to earth their own baby boy

happiness
sorrow
laughter
tears

have come and gone in sixty plus years
mother father moved to heaven above
I remain here still - filled with their love
