Ho! Winter's Whispering Softly...

It's nearly 1AM here and I, uh, let's pretend I have been sleeping as I ought to have been long ere now? Snowing a refreshing batch where rain had depleted the previous scene, oddly it was too inspiring. Hence the first(?) sonnet of the new day....

(sonnet # CCCCXCIX)

Fair Winter wonderland! I'll never tire
Of thy chaste loveliness, thy fresh allure
In purest powder white that decks, demure,
Th'entire scene, breath-taking with desire.
By unheard whispers beckoning, Love's fire
In virgin garments clad, the soul bestirs
To captive awe as frosted sere and firs
All clothed in delicate array inspire
To ecstasies. Behold how all the bare
World, garbed anew in brilliant, fluffy white,
Nigh calls. With silent tread, serenest air,
With such simplicity, old Winter's height
Entices in a diff'rent strain than e'er
His fellows knew, and proves he can delight.

Winters soft whispes singing that ultimate white song , which bemuses everyone. Captured here wonderfully well and creatively too.

This is flawless in rhyme and rhythm. Wonderful way you pave the outdoors with that fresh allure of purest powder. Gave me a bit of a chill. It's been a strange winter for sure, and you capture a bit of it beautifully. tfs
