Karmic Tango -5

I tread the thin line
that holds silence on one side
and the storms on the other.

I thrive in the breath
of a fleeting minute
that slips off
from a patient pocket.

I become the being
inside each thought
and thought inside the eyes
that face the mirror.

I crawl like a karmic bug
that makes the pain play
the most melodious song
ever composed by destiny.

I stand firm
inside each shifting mirage
that holds life on the edge
in a cut throat game.

"I crawl like a karmic bug/ that makes the pain play/ the most melodious song / ever composed by destiny." The wisdom offered in these lines by an enlightened poet friend on PF reminds me of the teachings of Buddha - the Enlightened One.

Wowers. Fantastic, impressive, marvelous. What a delicate dance with death, in real life, described too expertly and beautifully with awesome imagery and wonderful metaphors. La, this is one to reread.
