When you picture your paradise...

When you picture your paradise
what do you see?
A guy with a pen and a pad 'neath a tree?
or perhaps there are footprints
marked in the sand
tracing pathways of lovers
who walked hand in hand
Or maybe just maybe
there are sparks in the sky
from the bonfire beside which
we sleep you and I
When you picture your paradise
what do you see
for when I picture mine
I see just you and me

I see a dark sky filled with scattered dots of dazzling light that make up the Milky Way and far beyond. I see a slowly dying fire and I hear my hearts waters gently washing against the shingled shore Of Crummock. Your poem is superb. It has evoked thoughts memories and dreams in every reader! That's some achievement! Bravo! kath xxxxxxxxxx

Wow, very good scribble. I see a bottle of 100 year old whiskey along with a mobile phone and sledge hammer to smash the bloody thing :D

This is good work, sir. The poem flows with ease and the rhymes are almost nonchalantly present.
