time runs

time runs, and we chase it
new goes by the way,
and old becomes the new again.
way too much electronics
if one of those fancy cell phones ever rang
i would be lost .
keeping it simple is the best way
to uncomplicate your life.
older music is making a comeback
because the new is mostly trash.
so hang in there,
maybe hippies will return too.

up-to-date or oldies, I love easy-listening music, good for our souls, present-day musicians...they make good music too, but we have to be selective...we have here in our country a revival of oldies in CD-editions, a blessing for us...but you're right...way too much electronics...well penned, Carol!

The old turn styled album en-grooved to the blackest of lines... Regrettably minus the needle's own eyeless filled tines. Melodic chambers do rock all quickest to sleep... Narrowly the silenced bees that to hearts saddened,do sting fairest to weep. Dew wop a lama lama ding dong... New haven's own, swing song. The beat doth stead vastly to chaste... Others of whom only wish to daydream a waste. As the beat does so encompass close to heart... Dearest as Dearest,at hand chosen depart. The classics hath ever depleted... Never sure to reemerge,as,well as completed. Great poem! : )
