At The Playground

(The following was inspired
by the song, “Never on Sunday”)

I love to climb up & down
up & down
up & down
the ladders

I love to swing
back & forth
back & forth
in the air

I love to whizz
down &
down
the slide again

I love to ride
around &
around
the merry-go-round

A great poem for children here Ben. You need to find some children's mags. and get it published. You might not get paid for it, but you'll get your name out there as a poet. I think there's one called "highlights" Might check that out. I had some grandchildren that were getting something like that for awhile. The rhythm here is a real joy for sure. And it is so sound oriented with the actions. Well done is all I have to say. It is a poem that would turn a little guy on for sure. Not everyone has the gift to write for children at all.
