The Turning Of The Seasons

Each life is like the turning of the seasons,
many Autumns, Winters, Springs and Summers pass.
From birth we travel on to expiration,
the sands of time filter through the hourglass.

We gather wisdom on our body’s journey,
Experiencing much sadness on the way.
But we have too, a good amount of laughter,
With memories kept alive from day to day.

The beauty of this earth is natures wonder,
the colours of the land are so brightly spread.
Our lives will leave a pattern on its history,
by our footprints that are sculptured as we tread.

We each of us are one distinctive flower,
we bloom and raise our clear faces to the sun.
Then as our petals fade, we to earth return,
where Mother Earth will welcome everyone.
