Play The Music

Music, spangled with harmony,
trickling over the core of our senses.

This volume of sound resonates,
and like pearl droplets, echoes through the caverns
of our mind.

They elevate and transport us along,
weaving pure elation, vibrating with such amplification,
that all the universe sings,
and the melody reverberates into infinity.

Play the music,
it soothes the soul,
and steadies the beat of the heart.

The music of the spheres comes to mind M'lady I can no longer hear properly I must rely on memory The classics that I used to play I can remember easily But new music stopped for me when I lost my hearing

Ah, the opening scene of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night springs to mind; "If music be the food of love, play on...". Ernestine, this is a melliflous, marvellous, melodious wonder of a poem, and I love it!!! :)
