---Thiruvaachakam By Manicka Vachakar.
Meaning: I don't want the kith and kin; Nor do want town (of influence); Nor want the fame; Nor the scholars; Learning also now onwards enough; Oh the Artist residing at tirukkuTrAlam! For Your roaring ankleted foot, I want to melt out like the mind of the mother cow!

8.1.2012 Sunday being Arudhra Darshan-the day of "the God who dances a still dance", i dedicate this poem to Lord Siva, the Cosmic Dancer!

Oh Angel!
Light of my consciousness,
Beseeched by me,
In every breath!
Concur my love,
Eternal and imperishable,
Effacing the tribe,
Of my slumber,
Lest I may lose the reflection,
On the screen of my mind!
Angel, the cause of my origin,
You only sustain me,
Dissolve me in your love,
Allowing my manifestation,
In a form without death,
Transcending mental conceptions,
By condensing in thy interior cells,
As a drop of dewy Bliss!
Venerating thy Form,
When you hover in the sky,
Of my blemishless mind,
Let me cool you,
By the fine spray of my love,
Crystal clear as a waterfall!
I will make you shine,
As the swathe in the dark,
With the pearls of my kisses,
Studded all over thy body!
Oh red lipped beauty!
The fire of your love,
Tames my nerves, soothing my soul!
Aroma of thy being,
Is an antidote to my evils,
Spice my life,
With the heat of thy passion,
Embracing me tight,
To expunge my sins,
Possess me in full,
With the dazzle of thy eyes!
