lagoon

softly

how
softly
raindrops
fall
upon a hidden coast
left in a daze

as mountain signs
derived from a forest scripture
are carved on the sea surface.

and even from far,
far away
in armour
of misty galaxies and alien springs
the beam reappears.

in planetrides
it sings,
along dim stars
it waltzes,

serenades, a silenced lullaby.

winter invades
yet the mantle of april
embraces a shore,

the only one
where i could ever breathe.

Imagery that every poet aspires to - 'forest scripture' is a touch of artistic mastery that has inspired my imagination. A real privilege to read. :)
