Your life in my hands by menniti giovanni

Hands-On.

Like drawing with pencil on fine sensitive
paper, touch brings it's statement of care.
It communicates much, gives a natural
sense to sheer existence of mutual trust.

Something as simple as hands-on power
can be a healing art, but it's core message,
peace, is the massage of someone's heart.
A unique way of saying we care without
words is a touch or a hug, with these we
enter a place until now kept hidden away.

Heightened awareness convey's something
of inner self, giver and given share a being
at one by means of gentle touching's kiss.
Communing with psychic flow, this magic
raises life's energy field toward blissfulness.

Misery hides in the body and mind, putting
up barriers on which stroking shines light.
Try it one of these days, interpersonal gifts
of hands-on contact always brings love alive.

Love your portrayal of communicating through touch, this is expressed well in this fine poem.

Yes, a touch can be very expressive, Fay, and like your fine poem, it conveys a sense of acceptance and love or admiration to the one touched. It is perhaps mankind's oldest form of communication and the charming thing about that is that it still works today! Beautiful poem, Fay! Carl.

I'm a touchy person and love contact with people. I don't mean that in a sexual way, just a friendly closeness. Nice write and something that we should be more ready to use.
