Poet friends bring good cheer,
Not just at Christmastime
But all through the long year
In their words quite sublime.

Poet friends make one glad,
Their words soaring like birds
Or make one's heart feel sad
With their heart broken words.

Yet, at this time of year
It's good to let them know
Poet friends are held dear
And all are cherished so!
