Morning Song of a Die-Hard

vina venkatesam na nanatho na nathah
sada venkatesam smarami smarami
hare! venkatesa! prasida presida
priyam venkatesa! prayaccha prayaccha
.....Shri Venkatesa Suprabhatam

meaning:
There is no saviour other than Venkatesa.
I will always pray to Venkatesa. O Hari Venkatesa!
Be pleased and grant me favours

----------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my Angel!
Twilight approaches the east,
Once a day, a routine not so great,
You appear ever inside my eyelids,
Dispelling my inner darkness!

The birds render their songs,
Soothing the souls,
Deep in their slumber,
Your Raga enthuses my spirit,
Resonating thy name,
Deep inside my nerve cells!

The breeze of the morning,
Carries the fragrance of the lotus,
Half open in its bloom,
Disallowing the fullness!
Your heart of roses,
Sways like a swing,
Blowing gently thy love,
Enthralling my veins,
And articulating my arteries,
Without making a wink,
Nor allowing a sound!

Oh Beautiful Angel of my life!
In the cage of my heart,
The parrot of my deep love,
Opens its eyes, graciously singing,
The melody of thy name!

Grant me that boon,
To praise thee in love,
I have no place to go,
Than the Altar of Thy Feet!
