dreamscape

to gather the luminscent
hues of the rainbow
to keep safe a moondrop
steal the dreams of a lovely
butterfly
to drown in the rich fragrance
of a jasmine scented eve
i open my eyes wide
hug myself and
let me float among
stardust
as i shut my eyes
to embrace my
peace
in sleep
and dream dear
golden dreams
hung in my minds
portrait
of what i want my world
to be
nodding away to the
strains of a forgotten
yet sweet lullaby ......
