It was snowing in the moonlight
When I first kissed you that time,
Just before a cold Christmas night
To begin our romance sublime.
We swore our love for each other
As snowflakes fell on our faces,
Saying there wouldn't be another
In our hearts or to take our places.
Oh, we shared our ups and downs
In our wonderful teen romance
While I kissed away your frowns,
Blind that our fate was left to chance.
Time and distance drove us apart,
We each went our separate ways.
Soon, someone new stole your heart,
A fact I have rued all of my days.
I still think of that moonlit night,
The snowflakes on your pretty face.
I always felt our love was so right
Since no one has ever taken your place.
In my dreams all I see is you,
Those snowflakes in your auburn hair
And the moonlight kisses we knew,
Then I wake, only to despair.
some place ,there is kept these moments ,so sweet in our lives, thank you for reminding me with such a nice poem dave
