The autumn arrives in a golden cloak
With magical wand colour doth soak
Wild berries lie strewn around
Before winter sets a harvest is found
Wildlife scampers prepares for sleep
It's time for farmer to shed his sheep
And winter wind bites without respite
Snow by day and frost by night
Holly berries and the redbreasts sing
A subtle calm to the dale doth bring
And deep below the lying snow
Shrew and mouse lie all aglow
Then winter parts and crocus rise
Bird life heralds in warmer skies
The melting snows shall streams fill
Buds shall burst and a fragrance spill
Nature shall court and bring forth life
Sun and moon are man and wife
Then arrive those barmy summer days
Where gentle breeze and blossom sways
Cider sipped with a ploughman's lunch
And flowers picked by the bunch
Butterflies jig and dance the sunlit air
And an ambiance roams without a care
There is the Fifth season for all to share
Binding the hearts of those that care
Spilling for all from the heavens above
Filling all hearts this season is Love
When I draw the curtains to see a bright new day a poster of this poem would do when only the best will do...regards
