Thoughts From A Golden Leaf...

Leave not a leaf unturned,
And not a lesson unlearned...
Let love and care be returned,
And bitter memories burned...

Love comes with a price,
Life comes without a warning...
Sometimes staying isn't nice,
But neither is moaning...

Take down the wrong sails,
Roll up your idle sleeves,
Face the wind that wails,
Shout what your heart believes...

Steer against the twisting chain,
Break against the rising tides,
Pry out that age-old pain
From where it cowers and hides...

Don't just survive the strife,
Or exist for the sake of it...
Live your precious life,
Live it to its tiniest bit...
