Crayola/Crayon

I probably did.
At some point.
But, really don’t remember.
Can’t recall having any at home.
Only at school.
Was I deprived of them for some reason?
My memory is deleted of their usage,
well, at least at home.
For the life of me
I can not remember pulling out a box of them
or a book to use them in.
Did my parents deem them ‘not useful’ for some reason?
I rattle my brain
but only come up with
a void and a huge question mark.
Where were mine?
Everyone else had them.
Why didn’t I?
Well, it don’t matter now.
I got me a box.
And we’re not talking about the 64 variety,
but the 94 one.
And I’ve got books to use them in.
I’ll be busy for quite some time.
Why didn’t I think of doing this before?
Perhaps, someday,
you’ll want to join me.
Me, and my box of crayons.

as a child my great pass time was coloring with my crayons, playing with my paper dolls. Glad you are enjoying your crayons, happy coloring.
