Old Tears

There are old tears in your heart

Slowly drowning your soul

Held in but needing to be let go

Matching the tears in your eyes

They return when memories call

There are old tears in your heart

Slowly extinguishing the flame inside

I know you try so hard to put them out

They cling to the past

There are old tears in your heart

Now its time to let them go

there comes a time one must move on through the sea of tears and use the internal compass to find a new horizon ...

old tears are of no avail. let the sun shine in. let a new heart begin.

fresh tears can cleanse the eyes Old tears serve no purpose They are discarded by the wise or if they do nobody knows
