desert roses

misty mushy

blushing dawn is on her way

spilling gold in to sands

of old now wrapped

in whispery winters fold

a magical start to

another day

let me gather my roses

from the desert sands

There is poetic fragrance in your 'desert roses'. Let them not waste their sweetness for another day.

I dont know much about desert roses ...but what i know about poetry tells me that your verses have an uncanny knack of holding the readers on tenterhooks , making em read with wonder and awe the charm that u spill on the crystal screen

Very well written. A great poem. May I add, I grow desert roses. They are nothing like the rose we al know. But they have their own charms.
