Inimmitable Dev Anand* - A Tribute

He:
Chose colors from the rainbow
Stole the fragrance of flowers
Mixed them with love
Singing songs of life
Molded them into his acting
He was ever young Dev Anand.

*Icon of Indian Cinema who left for his Heavenly Abode today.

I am not familiar with Indian Cinema. The beauty of this poem, however, does not require that. It celebrates the power of human creativity within this person so well, that it has a universal application. As I read this poem, my heart could not help but think how well these words could fit so many others--for example, my favorite painting artist, Vincent Van Gogh. I truly hope this inspiring individual who had to leave, indeed went to his heavenly abode. --Michael

I'm not from his generation but thanks to my father I know his importance to cinema, his uniqueness in romantic roles. I'll definitely be watching more of his movies (I heard on the news that he worked in more than 100 films). Thank u for this wonderful tribute.
