New Year wishes

Everything in nature is
unconditionally beautiful
soulfully lovely
and it is only our apathy
and violence
that makes the word 'human'
a disgrace

So please...

LOVE

let us open our eyes
observe the flowers
not just smell the roses
but observe the hours
in-between
that which is seldom seen
the pupa emerging,
the foal being born,
summer serenity,
the wave of the corn
and rejoice in your life
even in the fall
in the bleak mid winter,
give thanks for it all
