Jagathi avithum kalitha kruthayo,
Vicharanthi mahaa maha saschalatha,
Ahimmsurivathra vibhasi pura,
Bhava Sankara desiga may saranam.
Totakashtakam by Totakacharya ( Disciple of Adi Sankara) :stanza -6
Meaning:
I praise and seek the protection of Sankara; Those who are born to protect this world and who are like a burning flame, roam everywhere without any one’s knowledge, but you shine before me like the Sun God
---------------------------------------------------------
Are you the forest maiden?
Oh my Angel, tender hearted Beauty!
Sitting in the remote village,
I ruminate over the golden moments,
Of thy bangle-bedecked hands,
Encircling my soul, exhilarating my being!
Cruel fate banished me,
From thy surround my Angel!
Shall I send the clouds, to carry my love?
Oh no, my Love, it may wet you, my beloved,
With its merciless sparkles of love filled water,
In the loveless environ, a barbarous proposal!
Is that gentle breeze okay?
No, it may carry you farther,
When you have shed tonnes of flesh,
In the absence of my embrace!
I am pining in my loneliness!
Will leaving this body, unite me with thee?
Oh! I am not so sure,
As I may be born remote, away from thee,
With a probable foreign language,
Splurging from my mouth,
How will I make a dialogue?
I will try the Love Language,
Will you make out our past?
Will you share me the penance that keeps you so cool?
When the atoms of my perishables, boil in your thought!
