Taking The Next Step

Ride the arc of my thoughts
Study me true and well
Swear to me by your heart
You'll never kiss and tell
Are you sure you're ready?
To know what goes on in here
I'm warning you now this once
It's something l myself fear
Take my hand as we leave
Promise to not let go
I'll show you more of me
More than anyone else knows
Why are you trembling?
Would you rather stay without knowing?
It's make your mind up time!
Hurry we must be going.

Study of you need not be by beg or plea for you are truely interesting My lips not sealed, but heart swelled full I speak kindly truth of a worthy bull Skin of glass, transparently clear Tenderness, vunerable are dear Dont tell me anything Let me observe how you give, how you swerve In time trembling will cease With open hearts I can obtain knowledge others can't achieve non-judgement, patient listening No haste is required No pace too fast, too slow Discovery cant be found on a clock, a map, graded on a curve Friendship takes a lifetime to observe
