Invisible
You see me everyday
you walk past me every time
you smile at everyone
but a blank stare into space is given to me
Everyday people never notice
the little things in life
maybe your an everyday person
and I am just an object to be ignored
An average looking girl
with average looking eyes and hair
I try to look different
but darkness cannot shine in light
My mind swirls with feelings
as young as I am I don't understand
maybe this will be different one day
maybe I will have my stand
But as hard as I might
It's just so damn hard to be seen
when your in a world that's so dark
And a thought proceeds
You could be my light bulb
our love would be the electricity
I could be with you together we will need no guide
for we could see our future, present and past
no worries will become of us
when we are together at last
But as I walk by you once more
after all of my aspirations for a better world
I know things wont change
its terrible for sure
that I will be invisible ever more.
