------------------------------------
I have written this rhyming poem in six quatrains of uniform syllabic length of 7 syllables
------------------------------------
As the rain started drizzling
Drenching the warming up sky,
The sun came out sore and asked
'You spoil my day thus, why'?
Glancing at the group of clouds,
The rain said evasively
'They come from a long distance,
Bring water, extensively'
Scenting the need for action,
The sun viewed the clouds awhile
Sent out a ray of light that
Held charming, disarming smile!
The clouds were instantly pleased,
Agreed to stall their mission,
Wanted to take home smile rays,
Put in a new submission
'I would split them'-said the rain-
'In seven colorful strings,
And bend them to form a bow
For your easy shouldering'!
The sky applauded gently,
Sent down a thunder lightly
The earth, waking up, listened,
Sent out invites outrightly!
