"UNENDING QUEST"

From womb to the tomb
We are on a quest.....
Deceiving each other,
Flattering our beloveds
To satiate the greed
Flares in our hearts.....

If the world is transitory
we are it's wretched passengers
Who scramble over the labyrinth
Of "Sansara" to uphold
The frivolous life.....
Pumped up by pride in the heart
Living with gluttony and envy
Coping with untamed lechery.
This will never end
But,keep our mortality
In the eternal captivity
Of "Sansara"

It's good always to make your own background (culture, nation, environment, Buddhism etc) part of the imagery and centrality of your poems...And in this poem you've done it brilliantly, Punsara.

Great, your tryst with the eternal quest! At the end of the tunnel there sure will be light...my love and best wishes to you.

amazingly astute observation of how many lives go... searching, trampling... missing the opportunity to be honest and live free... good work
