Ley Energies in Balance by Steve Slimm

Bonded (for Lyn)

Many years from now
I want to be there when you die;
To hold your hand gently
And whisper 'All is well'.
If possible to die with you,
To lay our sweet affair to rest
In a way that befits
Those who have known
The depth of separation's wound -
And how it came to be healed.

I read this piece twice Steve - the pain of separation yet depth of feelings so well described in a few lines..

this is very deep indeed, but well written.A tender verse, as Fay has said below.

As prelude to moving on at the end together not much beats this tender verse Steve. Indeed a true tribute to bonding.
