Love is in the air... everywhere I look around ... by KristinaVF

Real Feels Right.

Nebulous thoughts
when collected in secret
Subtly waft magic round
dream-bonded mind,
Stifling reluctance
they beckon with sweetness
Moments of love
which leave shyness behind.

They work to immerse
faint-hearted resolving.
With swirls of romantic intent
which amounts
To orgies of sensuousness
when revolving
Around fanciful lust
where no conscience counts.

From platters of heat, dreams
feed raw passions
Which impregnate sleepers,
who in daytime light
Run far away from visions
like these , bashful
Thought yields to conceiving
that "real feels right".

Beware though a wantonness
hidden by day
But rampant the moment
eyes start to close.
Conventional masks often
crumble away,
Leaving the real self
displayed, - but exposed.

If this be a Draem, may i have one of these tonight...or 2 or 3 ....LOL! This piece takes my minds-eye to my Fav Poet, Poe...as this piece in a contemporary vein, reminds me of his "'Dream Within A Dream"', for whatever reason...or thought....or dimension ? Excellent Work...No surprise it has garnered so many comments ! FjR-2010

Ooh la la, Fay this is a really interesting and philosophical write from you and just shows your versatility with style and subject. Like Carl, I really liked your last stanza as the summation of brilliant vocabulary and imagery throughout. A stunning poem.

It's a shame that inhibitions have to be shed during dreams most of the time, then maybe it is also a saving grace! This is a beautifully penned piece that held me mesmerized from beginning to end.

One thing I have always enjoyed about your poetry, Fay, is that you often give the reader a pleasant surprise! This is not your usual style of romantic poem, but one wonderfuly cloaked in a sensual dream and your thought provoking final verse was sensational! Carl.

I've often said that my dream life is much more exciting than my real life. But it's wise not to blur the boundaries, lest we lose touch with reality. This is beautifully written with wonderful imagery, also deeply perceptive.

It is amazing what thoughts occur when we let them go wild. The brain is a complicated thing, but it is also a great unraveller of all our conscious feelings, when let loose they spiral off into unknown places and emotions. Very well put in this poem and a pleasure to read.

Really beautiful Faye. If I could craft two words as you do a poem, I would be thrilled. So beautifully strung together are your words to make visually imagery. I forgot I was reading for a moment. Thankyou Faye
