Mirror Cameo Poem

Through The Window

Through the
glass I see the boy.
I wonder if he remembers
me like I
remember him. He holds my gaze
now but dropped my heart long
ago...

It's her.
She sees me through the window!
Her sad eyes remind me of the
time I made
her cry. She fell in love, I fell
in lust. I'll never
forget...

this poem is very different and effective. it says many things like a bombshell.the last three lines makes all the difference. "her cry. She fell in love, I fell in lust. I'll never forget.." sure one can not forget. ravi

A most wonderfully writen mirror Cameo poem, Violet, one that's quite expressive in virtually every line. As you probably know, the Cameo is one of my favorite poetic forms and I always enjoy reading a well expressed one like this this outstanding poem. Carl.

Sadly Vincent your syllable counting and knowledge of Cameo poetry has less potential... The lines are like that on purpose as it is a CAMEO poem. Thus has a specific syllable count: 2 5 8 3 8 7 2. not to mention creative licence... regards Violet

This is not too bad, however you strange usage of line breaks confused my reading of this poem. For Example I wonder if he remembers me like I remember him. He holds my gaze. for me it reads better like this I wonder if her remembers me like i rememer him. He holds my gaze now but dropped my heart long ago. this poem has potential regards Vincent
