Unleveled Heart
It's supposed to be a time of joy
How are we supposed to cope?
Twas supposed to be girl and boy
But only one now has a hope
Screams went up asking why
Anguished faces hiding much
Seems all we could do is cry
And use one another as a crutch
But one remains God's will be done
And love for him is times by two
What once was two is now one
We're thankful after what we've been through
May he grow with love and blessings too
May his strength continue to grow
For he is loved with a love so true
A love he will surely come to know

Ah, very sweet tribute to a bittersweet moment at the loss of one of twins, methink, yea? What a horrible moment, and yet what a blessing that one was left to hold and love to raise to know what love it. Poignant and realistic, sweet, I really like it.
