The Height of Loss

The silence engulfs me
And I welcome it with heart...
The voices are no more...

The light enters inside me,
And I'm left in the dark...
The accusations don't glare...

The touches miss me
And I'm left with numbness...
Sensations die a pathetic death...

The taste of your mouth
Is forgotten, not because
There is no kiss, but no me......

Just a scrawl of crude thoughts, nothing personal. :)

I can also relate to this as the other poets comment as life can have ups and downs with emotive loss. The height of up and the down of low is well expressed with poem and image Sana~

I admire that last phrase Sana - -- "there is a kiss but no me" echoes the wistfulness of the whole well-written verse.
