Puente of the city

the glass towers tell
the city back to itself
in cold images
of concrete,

~steel and emptiness~

echo noise,
reflecting blank expressions
yet with the rising
sun they burn golden

Wonderful painting with words. Lovely. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves to Sing

"steel and emptiness" ... functions as the poetic bridge in this piece while describing the stuff of which most modern bridges are made. Urban landscape well represented in this double sided portrait, conceding its cold beauty.
